Top 10 Cryptocurrency/Blockchain Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – September 16th to 30th, 2025

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Ion Protocol, decentralized blockchain platform that offers lending services, was acquired by Paxos.
  2. WhaleTales, subscription-based crypto research newsletter for cryptocurrency investors, was acquired by Alpha Edge Media, a subsidiary of Aether Holdings.

Later Stage VC

  1. Payward, trading platform that offers cryptocurrency exchange and services, raised $500 million of venture funding in a deal led by Tribe Capital, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $14.5 billion.
  2. ZeroHash, crypto and stablecoin infrastructure platform that allows any platform to integrate digital assets natively into its own customer experience, raised $104 million of Series D2 venture funding in a deal led by Interactive Brokers, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $896 million.

Early Stage VC

  1. EXUGlobal, cryptocurrency trading platforms for digital asset investment and financial automation, raised $40 million of Series A venture funding from investors.
  2. Share XYZ, on-chain media platforms that transform blockchain transactions into social content and identity signals, raised $5 million of venture funding from Coinbase Ventures, Collab+Currency and Palm Tree Crew Crypto.
  3. Talus Network, decentralized platform that combines blockchain technology with autonomous artificial intelligence agents, raised $10 million of venture funding from Sui Name Service and Mysten Labs.

Seed Round

  1. Balcony Technology Group, blockchain infrastructure platform for the real estate ecosystem, raised $11.83 million of seed funding from Blizzard Avalanche Fund and other investors, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $22.47 million.
  2. Senpi, artificial intelligence-based web development platform that provides fast and easy access to on-chain data across projects and blockchains, raised $4 million of seed funding in a deal led by Coinbase Ventures and Lemniscap.
  3. Tenbin Labs, tokenized asset issuance protocol that provides seamless, capital-efficient access to real-world assets on-chain, raised $6.75 million of seed funding from investors.
