PIPE

    1. Matador, technology company that develops an application that lets users in Canada buy and sell precious metals directly from a mobile phone, received CAD 2.999025 million of development capital, over 2 tranches through a private placement.
    2. Universal Digital, Canadian investment company focused on digital assets, businesses and private and publicly listed entities that are involved in high-growth industries, with a particular focus on blockchain, cryptocurrencies and cryptocurrency technologies, received CAD 1.6 million of development capital through a private placement.

Merger/Acquisition

    1. FireFly Star, algorithmic trading platform intended to serve the global cryptocurrency and digital asset markets, was acquired by GO INVEST LLC.
    2. Metavox Holdings, blockchain technology platform intended for visitors, NFT holders, partners, and brands in the USA, China, and India, was acquired by NFiniTi.

Later Stage VC

    1. BlockSpaces, bitcoin-native financial and collateral risk management platform designed to streamline back-office operations, raised $2 million of venture funding in a deal led by Axiom BTC.
    2. Kadena, blockchain platform designed to efficiently transact and share data in a decentralized manner, raised $35 million of venture funding from Multicoin Capital, SV Angel and CoinFund.

Early Stage VC 

    1. Pact Swap, cross-chain decentralized exchange platform designed for seamless and secure asset swaps across blockchains, raised venture funding in a deal led by DNA Holdings.
    2. True Markets, crypto spot exchange platform designed for efficient trading of digital assets, raised $11 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by RRE Ventures and Accomplice VC.

Seed

    1. Rising Tide, intelligent automation platform designed for constant information flow between parties and real-time delivery of decisions, raised $1.2 million of seed funding from Virginia Venture Partners and other investors.
    2. Uranium Digital, digital trading platform designed for institutional uranium trading, bringing efficient price discovery and immediacy to the transfer of physical uranium assets through the introduction of a digital asset where each token represents one pound of verifiable yellowcake, raised $6.1 million of seed funding in a deal led by Framework Ventures.
