Buyout/LBO
- AccessIT Group, IT security solutions that assist clients with security programs and infrastructure, acquired by Nautic Partners through an LBO.
- Redjack, network security, threat intelligence, and network protection services that serve business enterprises and the government, acquired by Lansweeper, via its financial sponsors Dovesco and Insight Partners, through an LBO.
Merger/Acquisition
- Lynx Software Technologies, an embedded real-time operating system that provides intelligence and virtualization solutions for safety and security functionality, was acquired in approximately July 2025.
- SafeRent, applicant screening tools for the multifamily real estate industry, sold to Resident Research LLC, an affiliate of Park Hill Holdings LLC.
Later Stage VC
- CardKill, fraud reduction software that identifies large transactions and block the purchase during the authorization cycle, raised venture funding from Virginia Venture Partners.
- MSB Cybersecurity, online risk-based security management platform for cybersecurity, raised venture funding from Virginia Venture Partners in approximately July 2025.
Early Stage VC
- Midl, blockchain infrastructure for decentralized application deployment on the Bitcoin network, raised venture funding from Draper Associates.
- Cogent Security, an AI taskforce for vulnerability management for complex organizations, raised $11 million of venture funding in a deal led by Greylock.
Seed Round
- Crash Override, a cybersecurity platform that helps application security teams reduce their workload, raised $28 million of seed funding in a deal led by GV and SYN Ventures.
- Bastazo, a cybersecurity platform that manages software vulnerability risk for critical infrastructure, raised $5.3 million of seed funding in a deal led by Cortado Ventures.
