Top 10 Cybersecurity Capital Raises in the U.S. – August 19th-25th, 2024
The Cybersecurity sector has seen significant activity this past week, with several companies securing substantial funding to drive innovation.

 Here are the capital raises:
PE Growth/Expansion
  1. Cyberbit, a Newburyport-based developer of a cyber range platform, received development capital from Charlesbank Capital Partners
Later Stage VC
  1. Sentry Enterprises, located in West Chester, Pennsylvania, raised $943,334 of venture funding.
Merger/Acquisition and Corporate
  1. Control Gap, a provider of IT security services based in Mississauga, was acquired by CyberGuard Compliance through an LBO.
  2. Compu-Call, a managed print services company in South Attleborough, Massachusetts,  was acquired by Integrity Data Solutions through an LBO.
  3. Vantyr, a Redwood City-based IT services provider specializing in cybersecurity and SaaS,  was acquired by Ark Infotech.
  4. TmaxSoft, a Chicago-based developer of enterprise software with a focus on cybersecurity,  was acquired by Tmax Group through an LBO.
Early Stage VC
  1. g8keep, a San Francisco-based company focused on security and transparency platforms for blockchain and fintech, raised $1.25 million of venture funding. (New Investors: Coinbase Ventures, Robot Ventures).
Seed Round, Angel, and Grant
  1. Kinnami, a Boston-based developer of data security software, joined The Catalyst Accelerator as part of the Fall 2024 cohort.
  2. Kirkwall, an operator of a cybersecurity firm in Fargo, North Dakota, raised $50,000 of angel funding.
  3. Level 6 Cybersecurity, a Mason, Ohio-based company, raised $150,000 of venture funding.
