- Aligned Data Centers, provider of modular data center and mechanical cooling infrastructure systems development and operation services intended for cloud, enterprise, and managed service providers, received an estimated $12 billion of development capital from Macquarie Asset Management and other investors.
- DataDirect Networks, provider of data storage and processing infrastructure intended to serve supercharging organizations with innovative technology and unparalleled expertise, received $300 million of development capital from Blackstone.
Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

- Newtek Technology Solutions, provider of information technology managed services intended to bring organizations to the forefront of modern cybersecurity and technology practices, was acquired by Intelligent Protection Management.
- Reliant Data Solutions, provider of IT services intended for small and mid-sized companies, was acquired by The Electronic Office of Asheville.
Buyout/LBO

- GovDefender, developer of secure digital media intake systems intended for federal agencies, was acquired by Xpect Solutions, via its financial sponsor NewSpring Capital, through an LBO.
- Intellicom USA, provider of installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems intended for voice, data, and video networks, was acquired by The Cook & Boardman Group, via its financial sponsors Littlejohn & Co. and Platinum Equity, through an LBO.

- CloudWerx, provider of cloud consulting services intended to provide engineering resources to accelerate business, raised $22.72 million of venture funding.
- Wilderness Labs, developer of real embedded and secure enterprise-grade IoT designed for enterprises and professional developers, raised venture funding from Mana Industries.
Early Stage VC

- Rembrand, developer of programmatic product placement platform intended to monetize videos without interruptive ads, raised $22.77 million through a combination of Series A and Series A-1 venture funding in a deal led by super{set}.
- XConn Technologies, provider of AI cloud computing services intended to accelerate artificial intelligence computing in data centers and HPC, raised venture funding from EnvisionX Capital.

Began his career at ABN AMRO Bank in Japan, and subsequently in The Netherlands in the Corporate Finance department. Was seconded to New York in 2006 to co-establish the ABN AMRO North America Corporate Finance M&A department and grew it by advising medium and large companies on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, capital raisings and capital structurings. Led the management buyout of RBS Bank Mexico and RBS Broker-Dealer Mexico in 2014 and spearheaded the subsequent growth of the bank as Head of Investment Banking & Corporate Development. During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
