Top 10 Data Center Capital Raises in the U.S. – October 1st-15th, 2024

PE Growth/Expansion

  1. DC BLOX, developer of interconnected edge data centers and cloud services intended to deliver the infrastructure and connectivity, received development capital from Post Road Group, Bain Capital Credit and other investors.
  2. Nasuni, developer of an enterprise cloud storage and file-sharing platform, received development capital from Vista Equity Partners.

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

  1. BGR Informatique, provider of IT services for small and medium-sized enterprises, was acquired by PRECICOM.
  2. Exusia, provider of end-to-end data strategy, execution and managed services catering to companies, was acquired by Globant.
  3. Applied Insight, provider of information technology services intended to balance the need for control and compliance through cloud management and emulation, was acquired by CACI International.

Later Stage VC

  1. Neeve, developer of a cloud infrastructure technology designed for smart buildings and spaces, raised $15 million of venture funding in a deal led by Cantor Fitzgerald and RXR Realty.

Early Stage VC

  1. nodepay, developer of a decentralized network infrastructure designed to monetize unused internet bandwidth, raised venture funding from Animoca Brands, Jump Crypto and OKX Ventures
  2. SkySQL, developer of a cloud database service platform intended to redefine data management by automating deployment, scaling, and administration, raised venture funding from Eniac Ventures.

Angel, Seed, and Grant

  1. OpenGradient, developer of a decentralized blockchain platform, raised $8.5 million of seed funding in a deal led by a16zcrypto.
  2. Platformr, developer of a cloud governance platform designed for firms to deploy Amazon web services resources, raised $2.5 million of seed funding in a deal led by Oregon Venture Fund.

Began his career at ABN AMRO Bank in Japan, and subsequently in The Netherlands in the Corporate Finance department. Led the management buyout of RBS Bank Mexico and RBS Broker-Dealer Mexico in 2014 and spearheaded the subsequent growth of the bank as Head of Investment Banking & Corporate Development. During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
