- ImmersiveTouch, a vendor-neutral enterprise-scale virtual reality surgery platform that delivers actionable insights to make surgery smarter and safer, acquired by HealthpointCapital.
Merger/Acquisition
- IllumiCare, a real-time patient information application that offers predictive health analytics, acquired by Premier.
- Nexstride, a compact walking assist device that helps individuals with neurological conditions improve mobility and regain independence, acquired by Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare.
Later Stage VC
- Abridge, a healthcare application that brings context and understanding to every medical conversation, raised $315.94 million of Series E venture funding in a deal led by Andreessen Horowitz.
- Arima Genomics, a gene-sequencing technology that accelerates the understanding of genome sequence and structure toward their role in human health and disease, raised $22 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by Illumina Ventures.
Early Stage VC
- BiomEdit, a microbiome innovation platform that discovers and develops animal health products, raised $16.04 million of Series B venture funding.
- Handspring, mental healthcare services that provide behavioral health care for children, adolescents, and young adults, raised $12 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Cobalt Ventures.
Seed Round
- Abvance Therapeutics, a glucagon-based insulin therapy that improves glycemic control while reducing the risk of hypoglycemia, raised seed funding in a deal led by Zubi Capital.
- Health Alert, a healthcare wrist-worn device that rescues helpless victims, raised $1.05 million of seed funding.
