PE Growth/Expansion

  1. Noryth Technologies, robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform for universal neural architecture, received development capital from Initiative Equity Partners.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Happypillar, mental healthcare application that provides support to families everywhere, was acquired by Manatee.
  2. Techfit Digital Surgery, digital surgery platform that enhances surgical planning and patient outcomes through workflow digitization and customization, was acquired by Acumed, a subsidiary of Medhold Group.

Later Stage VC

  1. Empathetics, neuroscience-based workforce retention platform that reduces clinician turnover and improve organizational performance, raised $950,000 of venture funding in the form of convertible debt.
  2. NextSense, brain-sensing earbuds that treat brain-related disorders, including peripartum depression, raised $25.68 million through the combination of debt, Series A, and Series A-1 venture funding in a deal led by Ascension Ventures, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $69 million.
  3. ZetaGen Therapeutics, small molecule-based osteoinductive technology that suspends cancer, inhibit pain and regenerate bone, raised $12.91 million of Series B1 venture funding in a deal led by JStar Capital.

Early Stage VC

  1. Ampa Health, neurotechnology firm for mental and neurological health treatments, raised $8.5 million of venture funding in a deal led by Nexus NeuroTech Ventures.
  2. Polysight, AI-powered compliance management platform that streamlines and automate regulatory compliance for healthcare organizations, raised venture funding from Catalyst by Wellstar and Alloy Partners.

Seed Round

  1. Deleon, portable biochemical analysis technology for real-time human performance and wellness monitoring, raised $705,000 of seed funding from Boost VC, CreationsVC and CREATE-X.
  2. MyPhysicianPlan, primary care coverage plans for uninsured gig workers, part-timers, visitors, immigrants, the unemployed and small businesses, raised $2.3 million through a combination of Seed and Seed-1 funding from New Jersey Commission on Science and Innovation and Technology and other investors, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $21.4 million.
