- Epic, developer of healthcare software intended to help people get well and future generations be healthier, received development capital from InterAlpen Partners.
- CoachCare, developer of a virtual health and remote patient monitoring platform designed to offer personalized programs to simplify the challenge of losing weight, received $1 million of development capital.
Buyout/LBO
- Modernizing Medicine, developer of healthcare software designed for dermatology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pain management, plastic surgery, and urology practices, as well as ambulatory surgery centers, acquired by Clearlake Capital Group through an LBO.
- VitalTech, developer of remote patient management system designed for healthcare providers to monitor and manage patients with chronic conditions, acquired by CoachCare.
Later Stage VC
- MicroTransponder, developer of an implantable neurostimulation device designed to aid stroke recovery, tinnitus management, and other neurological disorders, raised $65 million of Series F venture funding in a deal led by U.S. Venture Partners.
- PurposeMed, operator of growth telehealth brands designed to improve access to complex care for underserved communities around the world, raised venture funding in a deal led by True North Fund.
Early Stage VC
- Gem Health, provider of healthcare services intended to offer sleep apnea diagnosis and treatment, raised $7.01 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by LFE Capital and HealthTrend Capital.
- Imagine Pediatrics, provider of telemedicine services intended to provide healthcare services to children, raised $37.63 million of venture funding.
Seed Round
- DeepkinetiX, developer of AI-driven model-informed software designed to optimize pharmaceutical drug development, raised $1 million of seed funding in the form of SAFE notes.
- Smileyscope, manufacturer of a virtual reality device intended to reduce patient discomfort, raised $10.74 million of Seed-3 funding from Launchpad Digital Health, Hippocrates Ventures and Skalata Ventures.
