- Holos, an augmented and virtual reality platform for intuitive system visualization and interaction, received development capital from LEONID.
- MasteryPrep, an online educational platform that offers college and career readiness preparation, received $2 million of development capital.
Buyout/LBO
- Architonic, an online architecture platform that offers guidance in the area of architecture and design, was acquired by Sandow Companies, via its financial sponsor CAA Evolution through an LBO.
- E-Therapy, therapy and mental care services for students with special needs across schools in the United States, was acquired by Edustaff, via its financial sponsors PPC Enterprises and Monroe Capital, through an LBO.
Later Stage VC
- ExecOnline, a proprietary online learning platform that enhances how companies deliver professional development to their executives, raised venture funding in a deal led by JS Partners.
- Mastrius, an online mentorship platform that connects artists with experienced mentors for personalized creative guidance, raised venture funding from Okanagan Women.
Early Stage VC
- Career Bird, an AI-driven career development tool that simplifies talent development for mid-size organizations, raised venture funding from PeopleTech Partners.
- Origin CPA Group, accounting, tax, and personal management services for wealthy individuals to simplify complex financial scenarios and restore their peace of mind, raised venture funding from Meritage Funds.
Angel (individual)
- Dioma Language Company, a language learning platform for serious learners, raised $70,000 of angel funding.
- PlayerSense Systems, an integrated football coaching platform that bridges the gap between complex tactical data and player understanding through 3D visualization, raised $270,000 of angel funding.
