3. Avaz, picture-based communication and learning application that empowers people with special needs, was acquired by PRC-Saltillo.
4. SimTutor, content authoring platform that enhances the education of healthcare students, was acquired by Lecturio.

Later Stage VC

5. MIYO Health, online remote educational platform that solves challenges in mental health and special education delivery, raised $3.24 million of venture funding.
6. Knack Technologies, tutoring platform that helps college students sharpen and showcase their skills by teaching others, raised Series B venture funding in a deal led by New Markets Venture Partners.

Early Stage VC

7. Altitude, a digital platform for clinical performance management that supports clinician learning and skill development, raised $5.4 million of venture funding.
8. Flint (Educational Software), personalized learning platform that helps schools tailor instruction for every student, raised $15 million of Series A venture funding.

Seed Round

9. Axio, personalized learning platform for education, career advancement, and well-being, raised $3.92 million of seed funding.
10. Campusknot, social learning management system that provides administrators with a sustainable model tailored to future generations, raised $1.31 million of seed funding.
