Top 10 EdTech Capital Raises in the U.S. – April 1st to 15th, 2025

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Second Avenue Learning, developer of an interactive platform designed to offer education and empower learners together, was acquired by zSpace on April 15, 2025.
  2. Trala, developer of a music education application designed to teach users to play the violin, was acquired by Skoove for April 9, 2025.

Later Stage VC

  1. Ahura AI, developer of a learning experience platform designed to deliver personalized learning and skills education to positively impact the lives of people, companies and workforces worldwide, raised venture funding from 7percent Ventures in April 2025.
  2. YouScience, operator of an educational platform intended to upgrade the way students and young adults plan to make decisions regarding the future, raised venture funding from ECMC Group – Education Impact Fund on April 2, 2025.

Early Stage VC

  1. Slumberkins, developer of early emotional learning tools designed to empower young Children to be caring, confident and resilient, raised $1.63 million of Series A venture funding from investors on April 8, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $2.98 million.
  2. Invictus Mentis, operator of a virtual coaching platform intended to train students to achieve peak performance on standardized and competitive tests, raised venture funding from GrowthX Capital in April 2025.
  3. RockED, developer of a workforce development platform designed for skill enhancement in the automotive sector, raised $5 million of venture funding in the form of SAFE notes from FM Capital and other investors on April 11, 2025.
  4. Wall Street Business Academy, a community-subscription-based software designed to simplify complex market data, raised $660,000 of venture funding in the form of convertible debt from investors on April 14, 2025.

Seed Round

  1. Linus, developer of an educational application designed to assist students in preparing for standardized exams, raised $5 million of seed funding in a deal led by Owl Ventures on April 3, 2025.
  2. SigIQ.ai, operator of an information technology intended to accelerate human intelligence services, raised $9.5 million of seed funding in a deal led by The House Fund and GSV Ventures on April 7, 2025.
