- Revel Communities, independent living communities that provide resort-style housing for active seniors, received $540 million of development capital.
Buyout/LBO
- Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, provides home health and hospice services in the US, was acquired by Kinderhook Industries through a $1.21 billion public-to-private LBO.
Merger/Acquisition
- CenterWell Senior Primary Care, primary care medical services for senior citizens, was acquired by Humana.
- Lavender Lane Senior Living, senior living community based in Mesa, AZ, was acquired by Pennant Group for $74 million.
- Parkwood Home Care, senior home care services based in Halifax, Canada, was acquired by Earth Angels Home Care for CAD 3.5 million.
Later Stage VC
- Moira Club, wellness platform for aged people’s health support, raised venture funding from Ambush Capital.
- Mynd Immersive, provides virtual reality and AI-driven recreation and therapy to older adults, raised $8.5 million through a combination of Series A venture funding.
Early Stage VC
- UNO South Pointe, senior living and memory care services that support residential care for older adults, raised venture funding from Entangle.
- Zella Care, healthcare and wellness support services that improve patient care, well-being, and quality of life through personalized and compassionate care, raised venture funding from Koinz Capital.
Angel (individual)
- Home Care Placement, in-home care and senior placement services that support aging and disability needs, raised $310,011 of angel funding.
