- Cornerstone Caregiving, non-medical senior in-home care services for personalized assistance and companionship, received development capital from Warburg Pincus.
- CureCare, infusion nursing services based in Canton, Connecticut, received development capital from Lunchline Partners.
Merger/Acquisition
- At Home Senior Living, a living community based in Cochran, Georgia, was acquired by Thrive Senior Living.
- Choice Homecare, an elderly care nursing home, was acquired by Equinoxe LifeCare.
- Faith Presbyterian Hospice, a hospice organization that supports individuals with serious illness through end-of-life care, was acquired by Visiting Nurse Association of Texas.
- Lakeside Health & Rehab Center, a nursing and rehabilitation facility based in Carlinville, Illinois, was acquired by Hill Valley Healthcare for $46.5 million.
Later Stage VC
- Family First, caregiver services that navigate the challenges of family care, raised an additional $950,001 of Senior Series A venture funding.
- Naborforce, a social engagement and on-demand support platform that connects older adults to a network of fully vetted helpers, raised $500,000 of convertible debt funding.
Seed Round
- Baba, healthcare advocacy services that help individuals navigate medical care and insurance with dedicated expert support covered by insurance, raised $6.5M of seed funding in a deal led by General Catalyst.
- CareBestie, a patient and caregiver communication and scheduling platform that improves coordination in home care settings, raised $4.40 million through a combination of Seed and Seed-1 funding from TLV Partners.
