PE Growth/Expansion

1. EnergyPowerLab, energy technology consulting services that serve utilities, industrial clients, and research partners, received development capital from EPL Group.
2. Liminal Energy, utility-scale battery storage systems that strengthen electricity grid reliability, received $200 million of development capital from NGP Energy Capital Management.

Merger/Acquisition

3. J-W Power Company, natural gas compression equipment for the oil and natural gas, the renewable natural gas, and the CNG vehicle markets, was acquired by USA Compression Partners for $860 million.
4. PVComplete, solar design software that delivers seamless solar design from concept to construction, was acquired by Enact Solar.

Early Stage VC

5. Critical Loop, off-grid power-sharing service that provides quick access to increased power capacity and cost savings to commercial and industrial customers by delivering batteries-as-a-service, raised $12.39 million of venture funding from investors.
6. Lightcell, sustainable electricity engine that uses light to make electricity, raised venture funding from Deep Future.

Later Stage VC

7. Lydian, electric fuel platform that reduces emissions from air travel through synthetic fuel production, raised $43.75 million of venture funding from Overture Climate VC and other investors.
8. Nautilus Data Technologies, water-cooled data center that sets the standard for energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and global scalability, raised $21 million through the combination of Series B, Series B1 and Series B2 venture funding in a deal led by Pangaea Ventures, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $90 million.

Seed Round

9. Emobi, automated electric vehicle charging platform that optimizes transportation efficiency, raised $3.4 million of seed funding in a deal led by Florida Funders, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $23 million.
10. TrueMeter, AI-powered energy agent that lowers and stabilizes utility costs for businesses, raised $5.52 million through the combination of Seed-1, Seed-2 and Seed-3 funding in a deal led by Ulu Ventures, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $20.48 million.
