Top 10 Energy Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – November 16th to December 31st, 2025

PE Growth/Expansion

  1. Bolt Data & Energy, integrated AI infrastructure services for hyperscale compute operators, cloud providers, and technology innovators, received $150 million of development capital from Texas Pacific Land Trust and other investors.
  2. ZincFive, energy storage and delivery systems that offer mission-critical applications, received $30 million of development capital from General Enterprise Ventures, Japan Energy Fund, Hennessy Capital Group, Helios Climate Ventures, Climate Investment, Clear Creek Investments and other investors.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Paragon Energy Solutions, nuclear energy technology products and services that focus on the needs of commercial nuclear power plants, nuclear propulsion and next-generation reactors, was acquired by Mirion Technologies for $585 million.
  2. Shepherd Power, energy and power services that serve industrial, commercial, and utility sectors, was acquired by Natura Resources.

Later Stage VC

  1. First American Nuclear, nuclear energy consulting platform that advances reliable and economically viable nuclear power technologies, raised $10.02 million of Series A venture funding from an investor, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $150 million.
  2. X Energy, advanced SMR and fuel technology for clean energy generation, raised $700 million of Series D venture funding in a deal led by Jane Street.

Early Stage VC

  1. Haven, home battery system that builds a resilient energy infrastructure, raised $40 million of venture funding in a deal led by Giant Ventures.
  2. Thea Energy, scalable fusion energy technology that creates a limitless source of zero-emission power, raised venture funding from Ripple Impact Investments.

Seed Round

  1. Material Hybrid Manufacturing, energy storage manufacturing technology for integrating power directly into product structures, raised $8.11 million through a combination of Seed funding from HAX, Pathbreaker Ventures and GoAhead Ventures, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $18.00 million.
  2. Skip Tech, novel liquid battery that improves both the electrical and economic efficiency of large-scale battery storage, raised $3.97 million of Seed-6 funding from Keiretsu Capital and other investors, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $35.53 million.
