Top 10 Energy Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – October 16th to November 15th, 2025

PE Growth/Expansion.
- Fortify Grid, modular energy infrastructure for grid resilience and adaptive storage deployment, received development capital from Innova Capital Partners.
- Peregrine Energy, utility-scale energy storage and renewable generation projects that serve energy markets, received $447 million of development capital from Woori PE Asset Management, Ministry of Environment K-water, AB CarVal and IMM Investment.
Merger/Acquisition
- Ambia Solar, solar electric power generation company that provides solar panel systems for residential customers, was acquired by SunPower for $37.5 million.
- AmeriPro Energy, renewable energy resources that educate customers about current energy markets and renewable options, was acquired by 33 Sigma Holding.
Later Stage VC
- Moment Energy, sustainable energy storage systems that serve peak demand in on-grid areas and help off-grid customers reduce diesel consumption and transition to renewables, raised venture funding from Wind Ventures.
- Verdyn, full-cycle energy services for clients to access energy systems, raised venture funding from Hammond Power Solutions.
Early Stage VC
- Creekstone Energy, AI infrastructure and energy platform that powers next-generation artificial intelligence through integrated, sustainable and reliable energy services, raised Series B venture funding led by Trident Ridge.
- OK2Charge, enterprise software for property managers and owners to manage, monetize, and secure access to their on-site electric vehicle chargers, raised venture funding from Varro Capital.
- Valar Atomics, atomic energy company that creates abundant and cheap gas out of thin air using atomic energy, raised $130 million of venture funding through a combination of debt and equity.
Seed Round
- Material, advanced energy storage manufacturing technology for integrating power directly into product structures, raised $7.4 million through a combination of Seed-1 and Seed-5 funding from HAX, Pathbreaker Ventures and GoAhead Ventures, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $18.6 million.
