Top 10 Energy Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – October 1st – 15th, 2025

PE Growth/Expansion

    1. Greenflash Infrastructure, grid-scale energy storage, power generation and controllable load services that serves utilities, municipal cooperatives and other load-serving entities in supply-constrained areas across the United States, received a development capital from Wafra and Acadia Infrastructure Capital.
    2. 406 Energy, upstream oil and gas assets that deliver production growth and operational efficiency, received development capital from NGP Energy Capital Management.
    3. Nano Nuclear Energy, an early-stage nuclear energy company developing smaller, cheaper, and safer portable clean energy solutions, received $400 million of development capital.
    4. Gamma Resources, a mineral exploration and development company for uranium projects that utilize in-situ leach (ISL) methods, received CAD 1.32 million of development capital.

Buyout/LBO

    1. NuWave Energy Solutions, energy efficiency and renewable services for corporate and institutional facilities, was acquired by Commonwealth Electrical Technologies, via its financial sponsor Broad Sky Partners through an LBO.
    2. Rock Rose Energy Storage, a 200-megawatt 40 megawatt-hour battery energy storage system located in Texas, United States, was acquired by Greenflash Infrastructure, via its financial sponsors Acadia Infrastructure Capital, H.I.G. Capital and Wafra, through an LBO.

Corporate

    1. Evolve Strategic Element Royalties, a royalty financing company for strategic metals based in Montreal, Canada, received CAD 37.5 million of financing.

Merger/Acquisition

    1. Premium Oilfield Services, specialized services and equipment rentals to the oilfields, was acquired by Archer (OSL: ARCH), a subsidiary of Archer Norge, for $20 million.
    2. Clarke Energy, which distributed energy generation services for combined heat and power optimization purposes, was acquired by Kinsley Group.

Later Stage VC

    1. Base Power, an electricity service that improves the reliability and affordability of home energy, raised $1 billion of Series C venture funding in a deal led by Addition.
