- DelphX Capital Markets, a Canada-based company that operates a worldwide facility for the transparent offering, purchase, sale, collection, and storage of certain fixed-income securities and derivatives and manages data, research, analytics, and valuations of such instruments, received CAD 120,000 of development capital.
- Gemini Space Station Inc, a company that unlocks the next era of financial, creative, and personal freedom, received $100 million of development capital from Winklevoss Capital Fund.
Merger/Acquisition
- Fintool, a financial research tool that extracts and analyzes data from financial documents, was acquired by Microsoft.
- Andeno, financial services that provide low-cost personal loans, was acquired by Power Financial.
Later Stage VC
- Foundation, a cold storage wallet that balances Bitcoin security and design, raised $19.78 million of venture funding in a deal led by Fulgur Ventures.
- Coinme, a financial infrastructure platform that enables businesses to integrate cryptocurrency services into their applications, raised venture funding from Circle Ventures.
Early Stage VC
- Pace, an artificial intelligence operations platform that modernizes and streamlines insurance back-office workflows, raised $46 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by Sequoia Capital and Thrive Capital.
- Bitewing AI, an automated underpayment recovery platform that captures leaked revenue for dental groups, raised venture funding from Euclid Ventures and Everywhere Ventures.
Seed Round
- Catch It, a unified merchant payment application that helps independent business owners manage payments, raised $200,000 of seed funding.
- intellicents, integrated financial advisory and employer benefit technologies that optimize retirement readiness and fiduciary management for corporate workforces, raised $8.1 million of seed funding.
