  1. Delphx Capital Markets Inc, a world-wide facility that offers the transparent offering, purchase, sale, collection, and storage of certain fixed-income securities and derivatives, and manages data, research, analytics, and valuations of such instruments, receive CAD 150,000 of development capital.
  2. Luxxfolio Holdings Inc, digital infrastructure and technology company that focuses on enabling the next generation of crypto-powered commerce, received CAD 1,029,180 of development capital.

Buyout/LBO

  1. Brightfin, information technology expense management software that supports enterprise technology cost and asset management, was acquired by Proven Optics, via its financial sponsors ServiceNow Ventures and Silversmith Capital Partners, through an LBO.
  2. ClearGov, a financial management platform that supports planning, budgeting, and reporting for public sector organizations, was acquired by IGM Technology, via its financial sponsor Lead Edge Capital, through an LBO.

Later Stage VC

  1. Candex, enterprise procurement workflow software that is designed for managing tail spend and vendor payments, raised $73 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by 9Yards Capital Management and HSBC Holdings.
  2. Airtm, an online money-transfer network platform that is designed to address the problems suffered in weak currency countries, raised $572,725 of venture funding.

Early Stage VC

  1. Veriad, an artificial intelligence-powered marketing compliance platform that is intended to automate and streamline the review of content against regulatory, brand, and internal policy standards, raised venture funding from N1.
  2. Cubby, a self-storage platform that is designed to make growth simple, raised $63 million through a combination of Series A-1 and Series A- venture funding in a deal led by Goldman Sachs Growth Equity.

Angel (individual)

  1. Render Payments, a payment processing platform that is designed for businesses to streamline financial transactions, raised $500,000 of angel funding.
  2. WiseCost, an accounting compliance technology that supports government contractors with the modern advancements in technology, raised $268,000 of angel funding.
