Buyout/LBO
- Column Tax, an application programming interface that serves mobile banks and fintech companies, was acquired by Aiwyn, via its financial sponsor Hillandale Advisors, through an LBO.
- Concert Group, management services that facilitate the effective governance of risks through captive insurance arrangements, was acquired by Freedom Reinsurance Underwriters through an LBO.
- United Flow Technologies, a platform company that invests in and acquires companies, especially in the water market, was acquired by Berkshire Partners through an LBO.
Early Stage VC
- Cara, an AI-powered customer service automation system that supports insurance agencies and brokerage workflows, raised venture funding from New Stack Ventures, Valia Ventures, SNR.
- Cicada, an electronic trading infrastructure that enables institutional bond market access, raised $7.95 million of venture funding.
- Paperstack, a financial platform that provides working capital and business insights, raised $3.84 million of venture funding from Matchstick Ventures, Techstars and other.
Accelerator/Incubator
- Fortuna, an investing copilot that delivers clarity, actionable insights, and personalized portfolio strategies, joined LvlUp Ventures and received funding.
- Onza Finance, an AI-powered liquidity platform that helps skilled nursing facilities convert Medicare and Medicaid receivables into working capital, joined Harvard Undergraduate Capital Partners in December 2025 and received grant funding.
Angel (individual)
- Mary & Pip, wealth-management tools that help earners strengthen their personal finances, raised $331,000 of angel funding in the form of SAFE notes.
- Phygitals, a digital collectibles marketplace that simplifies and enhances the process of buying, selling, and trading collectible cards, raised $500,500 of angel funding.
