  1. PatientPay, billing platform that offers healthcare revenue cycle management for the healthcare industry, received development capital from Mitchell Family Office in September 2025.
  2. Tetra Trust, digital asset custodian platform that secures the storage of digital assets, received $10 million of development capital from Wealthsimple, NAventures, Shopify, Shakepay, Purpose Unlimited, ATB Financial and Urbana on September 4, 2025.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Credora, credit ratings and analysis platform that empowers efficient private credit markets, was acquired by RedStone on September 4, 2025.
  2. OpenMeter, monetization platform that maximizes revenue with usage-based pricing, was acquired by Kong on September 3, 2025.

Later Stage VC

  1. Aspecta, digital asset trading platform that facilitates the exchange of tokens, NFTs, and other digital assets, raised venture funding from OKX Ventures, GeekCartel and YZi Labs on September 4, 2025.
  2. Resolve, B2B payments platform that bridges the gap between buyers and sellers, raised venture funding from Four Cities Capital in September 2025.

Early Stage VC

  1. Clerq, bank payment platform that facilitates direct payments from customer bank accounts, raised $12 million of Series A venture funding from investors on September 11, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $51 million.
  2. fun, crypto token generation platform that simplifies the token creation process, raised venture funding from Wintermute and Delphi Ventures in September 2025.

Seed Round

  1. Button Labs, Bitcoin-native financial platform that facilitates access to decentralized financial tools using Bitcoin as collateral, raised $3.75 million of Seed funding from investors on September 5, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $17.25 million.
  2. Dapt Tech, project profitability platform that provides real-time profitability, payroll, and job costing insights, raised $1.63 million of Seed-2 funding from investors on September 5, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $2.57 million.
