Top 10 FinTech Capital Raises in the U.S. – April 16th-30th, 2025

PE Growth/Expansion

    1. Instrumentl, developer of a grant discovery, research, and tracking platform designed to connect nonprofits who are seeking grant funding with investors, received $55 million of development capital from Summit Partners.

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

    1. Ampla, provider of growth and working capital services intended to accelerate growth with brand-friendly services, was acquired by FundThrough.
    2. Maza, operator of a digital bank intended to offer modern financial services, was acquired by Flex for $40 million.

Later Stage VC

    1. Altruist, developer of a digital investment platform designed to help financial advisors serve their clients, raised $152 million of Series F venture funding in a deal led by GIC Private.
    2. Car Capital, operator of an automotive fintech company intended to provide dealers with capital and advanced technology to help all consumers buy the cars they need, raised $73,000 of venture funding.
    3. Etico Private Wealth, operator of a wealth management and investment advisory platform intended to support financial advisors and individual investors, raised $10 million of venture funding from Eos Venture Partners.
    4. Zoe Financial, developer of a wealth planning platform designed to help people find financial advisors, raised $29.6 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by Sageview Capital.

Early Stage VC 

    1. 275 Funding, provider of investment services intended to facilitate capital advances, raised $37.20 million of venture funding in the form of convertible debt.
    2. Nuvo, developer of a credit management platform designed to help improve trade credit decisions, raised $34 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Sequoia Capital.

Seed

    1. Brio, developer of a comprehensive limited partnership management platform designed to streamline LP management and elevate investor experiences, raised CAD 3 million of seed funding in a deal led by Brightspark Ventures and Canso Innovations.
