Top 10 FinTech Capital Raises in the U.S. – March 1st-15th, 2025

PE Growth/Expansion

    1. Fortis Payment Systems, operator of a payments software company intended for software providers, marketplaces and developers, received development capital from Lovell Minnick Partners and Audax Private Equity.

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

    1. Encore, developer of a fan id protocol intended to turn fandom into a digital asset, was acquired by Guild Esports and Gaming.
    2. Pocketed, developer of a grant-matching platform designed to make funding more accessible to business owners, was acquired by Deloitte Canada.

Later Stage VC

    1. ClearingBid, operator of a security brokerage platform intended to allow investors and their brokers access to new security issues of all types, raised $1.48 million of Series B venture funding.
    2. Synctera, developer of an online fintech platform designed to connect traditional banking operations with financial technology innovations, raised $15 million of Series A1 venture funding in a deal led by Diagram Ventures and Fin Capital.

Early Stage VC 

    1. 275 Funding, provider of investment services intended to facilitate capital advances, raised $34.43 million of venture funding in the form of convertible debt financing.
    2. OatFi, developer of an embedded working capital platform designed for business payment, raised venture funding from Cross River Digital Ventures.
    3. Pascal, operator of an enterprise software company intended to empower financial services firms to utilize the transformative power of data, raised venture funding from Ethos Fund.

Angel, Seed, and Grant

    1. Offline Protocol, operator of a pioneering censorship-resistant stack intended to enable financial inclusion and reliable communication in areas with limited connectivity, raised $1.1 million of pre-seed funding in a deal led by Portal Ventures.
    2. Vest, developer of a financial infrastructure company intended to offer decentralized financing and financial infrastructure, raised $5 million of seed funding from Jane Street, QCP Group and Amber Group.
