Top 10 FinTech Capital Raises in the U.S. – May 16th to 31st, 2025

PIPE

    1. The FUTR, robust personal life management vault and data monetization platform, received $1.25 million of development capital, through a private placement.
    2. R1 RCM, revenue cycle management services intended to serve hospitals, health systems, and physician groups, received development capital from Khosla Ventures through a private placement.

Merger/Acquisition

    1. Discover Financial Services, bank operating in two distinct segments: direct banking and payment services, was acquired by Capital One Financial for $35.3 billion.

Later Stage VC

    1. American Pride Bank, community bank intended to serve the financial services needs of the community, raised $23.44 million of venture funding.
    2. Rally, investment platform intended to allow members to invest in fractional equity shares of individual blue-chip collectibles, raised $3 million of venture funding.
    3. Borderless, global investing platform designed to help in cross-border savings and investments, raised INR 200 million of venture funding in the form of convertible debt in a deal led by Credence Family Office.

Early Stage VC 

    1. Ezra Climate, financing platform intended to provide funding to climate companies, raised $7.57 million of venture funding from Orrick, City Light Capital and Fresh.Fund.
    2. Keep, credit card and payment platform intended to simplify financial management, raised $23 million of venture funding in a deal led by Tribe Capital.

Angel, and Seed

    1. Sute, financial planning platform designed to help individuals understand and manage their real-time spending power, raised $50,000 of angel funding in the form of equity, debt, options, and warrants.
    2. DreamFi, financial platform designed to help users save money on everyday expenses and build a plan toward economic freedom, raised $3.33 million of seed funding in the form of convertible debt.
