1. 1. Caputo Cheese, a processed and blended cheese primarily for food distributors and restaurants, received development capital from WP Global Partners.
   2. Peace Coffee, a fair-trade coffee company that promotes small-scale coffee growers in the United States, received $1.4 million in development capital.

Merger/Acquisition

3. 3. Swirl Wine Brokers, a full-service wine brokerage and distributor that connects small family-run wineries with regional buyers, was acquired by Vinifera Wine Marketing.
   4. Intermountain Packing, a meat processing and packing service that supports ranchers, marketers, and grocery stores across the United States, was acquired by American Farmers Network.

Later Stage VC

5. 5. Brother Justus, a whiskey distillery that provides preserved and distilled biomes converged whiskey, raised $9.7 million in venture funding.
   6. Hudson Harvest, a farm products company that creates a thriving food system and builds a stronger local food community, raised venture funding from Outlaw Ventures.

Early Stage VC 

7. 7. Aspyre Foods, a sustainable and affordable dairy product company that produces dairy without cows, raised venture funding from Launch Africa Ventures.
   8. Doughy, vegan food company that provides delicious cookies without chemicals or additives, raised venture funding from Corazon Group.

Angel, and Seed

9. 9. Love&Cookies, a gourmet baked goods company specializing in gluten-free cookies, raised $350,000 of seed funding in the form of SAFE notes.
   10. Man Cereal, a low-carb creatine cereal that makes creatine products more mainstream and approachable, raised pre-seed funding from SuperAngel.Fund and other investors.
