Top 10 Food Products and Beverages Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – October 16th – November 15th, 2025

PE Growth/Expansion

    1. Fruitist, fresh fruits that offers a healthier snacking alternative, received $150 million of development capital from JP Morgan Asset Management, WP Global Partners, Avenue Capital Group, Aliment Capital, Steve Kaplan, 888 Midas, Bridgewater Associates, responsAbility Investments and KuE Capital.
    2. Omega 3 (Food Products), nutritional food products that offers brain and mental well-being, received development capital from Altelan Capital.

Merger/Acquisition

    1. Ice Cream Factory, handcrafted ice cream based in Lebanon, Missouri, was acquired by PNC Brands Group.
    2. Merlino Foods, Italian food products that serves restaurants, foodservice operators, and specialty markets in Seattle and surrounding regions, was acquired by The Erickson Family.

Later Stage VC

    1. Baked Cravings, bakery shop that offers fresh-baked, nut-free, and peanut-free cupcakes to satisfy individuals’ sweet tooth cravings, raised venture funding from LvlUp Ventures.
    2. Nara Organics, organic, grass-fed whole milk that delivers the nutrients infants need, raised $46 million of venture funding from BBG Ventures, Torch Capital and AlleyCorp and other investors.

Early Stage VC 

    1. Happy Products (Beverages), roasted coffee products for everyday consumption, raised venture funding from Taste Tomorrow Ventures.
    2. Smala Sauce, specialty food brand that brings a fusion of Italian and Chinese culinary influences through savory, spicy and tingly chili oil, raised venture funding from Legendary Ventures.

Seed

    1. Chilau Foods, culinary-based food company that makes Southern-inspired cooking easy and flavorful, raised seed funding from LvlUp Ventures.
    2. Cob Foods, snacking company that sells corn-free and gluten-free pop that combines all the flavor and craveable crunch, raised $5 million of seed funding in a deal led by Novak Djokovic.
