   3. SlimFast, nutritional products for weight loss and fitness, was acquired by Heartland Food Products Group.
   4. Clos LaChance Wines, winery products based in San Martin, California, was acquired by CordeValle Winery.

Later Stage VC

5. 5. Alice Mushrooms, the mushroom chocolate brand that offers boosts to cognitive functioning, raised $8 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by NewBound Venture Capital.
   6. Chickapea, healthy food products that offers gluten-free, organic, and vegan pasta, raised CAD 4.25 million of venture funding in a deal led by AGT Food and Ingredients.
   7. Lake Louie Brewing, craft brewery that produces and sells craft beers, raised $1.97 million of venture funding.
   8. Tractor Beverage, hand-crafted beverages that offers organic beverages, raised $22.73 million of venture funding through combination of from 165 Global and other investors.

Angel

9. 9. Aqua Beato, alkaline spring water brand that boosts personal health and environmental sustainability, raised $180,000 of angel funding.
   10. Seneco Operations, food company that offers customizable dishes, raised $130,000 of angel funding in the form of SAFE notes.
