Top 10 Food Products and Beverages Capital Raises in the U.S. – March 1st-15th, 2025

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

    1. Kinnamōns, operator of a bakery intended to delight taste buds with a tantalizing cinnamon roll experience, was acquired by Craveworthy Brands.
    2. Potato Products of Idaho, producer of refrigerated and frozen potato products intended to meet the requirements of food service and grocery customers, was acquired by Post Holdings.
    3. D.B. Wine Selection, distributor of French wines intended to serve professional retailers and restaurants, was acquired by Panebianco, a subsidiary of Colavita USA.

Later Stage VC

    1. FlyteCo Brewing, operator of a restaurant and brewery chain intended to provide a social gathering place, raised $200,000 of venture funding.
    2. Tractor Beverage, producer of hand-crafted beverages intended to offer organic beverages, raised $15.03 million of venture funding.
    3. Doce Mezcal, operator of an artisanal brewery intended to provide gluten-free, vegan, and zero-carb beverages, raised venture funding from Pronghorn.

Early Stage VC 

    1. SipMargs, producer of tequila and mezcal intended to create canned margarita, raised $3 million of venture funding in a deal led by Palm Tree Crew Investments and Alix Earle.

Angel, Seed, and Grant

    1. Dirtbag, producer of food products designed to offer a nutrient-dense source of whole food in the form of energy bars, raised $250,000 of angel funding.
    2. Drty Blue, provider of an alcoholic beverage product designed to introduce the market to its tequila and kombucha cocktail, raised $25,000 of angel funding.
    3. Harmony Craft Beverages, operator of a beverage development and brand-building company intended to support the creation and market launch of no and low-alcohol, functional-infused drinks, raised angel funding from Calvin Broadus.
