- Duffl, delivery portal that delivers snacks within minutes by using electric scooters, was acquired by REV Delivery.

- Crafty (Office Services (B2B)), workplace food and beverage platform that elevates the employee experience and foster a stronger workplace culture, raised $1 million of venture funding in the form of convertible debt.
- Market Wagon, online farmer’s marketplace for food producers to thrive in their local and regional markets, raised venture funding from Open Prairie Ventures.
- Shipday, direct delivery platform for local businesses to take control of their deliveries, raised $7 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Ibex Investors and Emil Capital Partners.

- Knead Tech, technology-based platform that supports food rescue and redistribution operations, joined MaRS Discovery District as part of its Food and Agtech Venture Accelerator Program.
- Shiru, artificial intelligence-powered protein discovery and development services that creates novel ingredients for food and consumer products, joined pladis Foods Accelerator as a part of its first Cohort.
