Merger/Acquisition
- Mech, a NFT-based metaverse gaming platform designed for players to earn the in-game currency ore, acquired by Zelgor Games.
Later Stage VC
- Lucid, an artificial intelligence model designed to generate real-time interactive Minecraft environments, raised venture funding from Samsung NEXT Ventures.
- Polyarc, a virtual reality-based game development studio intended to offer video and digital games, raised $5 million of Series B-1 venture funding.
Early Stage VC
- Emptyvessel, a video game creation studio designed to empower creators, raised $6.25 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by NCSoft and 1AM Gaming.
- Spawn, a platform intended to create apps and games from words. The company is currently operating in Stealth mode, raised venture funding from BoxGroup.
Seed Round
- Coverd, a gamified personal finance platform intended to help users pay off debts and fund expenses through games of chance, raised an estimated $7.5 million through the combination of Seed funding from Yolo Investments and other investors.
- Dynasty Studios, a gaming platform designed to reach mainstream game industry players and introduce them to blockchain games, raised $14 million of seed funding from Cloud3 Ventures.
- Free Spins, digital casino incentives intended to attract and retain online casino players, raised $1.35 million of seed funding in the form of convertible debt.
- Latent Technology, an artificial intelligence-powered animation technology designed to transform virtual worlds, raised $8 million of seed funding in a deal led by Spark Capital and AlbionVC.
- Orange Cap Games, a blockchain card-based gaming studio intended for competitive play and collectors, raised $3.5 million of seed funding in a deal led by Yuga Labs and 1kx.
