PE Growth/Expansion

  1. Regenity Biosciences, collagen and mineral-based medical devices that support the body’s natural ability to regenerate in areas such as tissue, bone, and nerve repair, received development capital from Cinven.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Amplitude Vascular Systems, early-stage medical device that focuses on treating severely calcified arterial disease, was acquired by Stryker for $850 million.
  2. Noctrix Health, wearable therapeutic devices that treat the symptoms of restless leg syndrome, was acquired by ResMed for $340 million.

Later Stage VC

  1. BlueWind Medical, medical devices that provide peripheral neuromodulation therapy for urge urinary incontinence, raised $47.8 million of venture funding through a combination of equity and debt.
  2. Endovascular Engineering, minimally invasive thrombectomy system that removes pulmonary embolisms efficiently while minimizing patient risk, raised $80 million through a combination of Series C-1 and Series C-2 venture funding in a deal led by Gilde Healthcare and Norwest, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $135 million.

Early Stage VC

  1. Axena Health, connected medical device that improves outcomes for women with pelvic floor disorders, raised $15.05 million through a combination of Series B, and Series B-1 venture funding from investors, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $54.95 million.
  2. CranioSense, medical devices that unlock the hidden parameters of brain health by enabling on-demand neurological insight, raised $510,000 of venture funding from Heinz Ventures, Innovation Works and She’s Independent.

Seed Round

  1. Focused Cryo, cryoneurolysis system that provides industry-leading spatiotemporal control for nerve cryoneurolysis, raised $8.87 million through a combination of Debt, Seed-1, Seed-2 and Seed-3 funding from GRA Venture Fund and other investors, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $44.03 million.
  2. Wavelet Medical, monitoring devices that assess fetal brain development, raised $7 million of seed funding from Aegis Ventures and other investors, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $12.00 million.
