- Anteris Technologies, cutting-edge medical devices that restore healthy heart function, received $90 million of development capital from Medtronic.
- Nuwellis, medical device used in ultrafiltration therapy that removes excess fluid from patients suffering from fluid overload who have not responded to medical management, including diuretics, received $3.07 million of development capital from investors.
Merger/Acquisition
- Integrity Orthopaedics, rotator cuff repair device that redefines the landscape of soft tissue repair, was acquired by Smith & Nephew, for $450 million.
- Nalu Medical, neurostimulation implant that provides long-term relief for patients with intractable chronic nerve pain, was acquired by Boston Scientific for $600 million.
Later Stage VC
- Corfigo, cardiac devices for the ablation of atrial and ventricular tissue from an epicardial approach, raised $2.39 million of Series A-2 funding from investors, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $17.61 million.
- Omega Ophthalmics, surgically implanted lenses that create a space for augmented reality inside the eye, raised $320,000 of venture funding from investors.

- Immersive Hearing Technologies, sound simulation platform that revolutionizes the demonstration experience within audiology clinics, raised venture funding from Keyhorse Capital.
- LymeAlert, at-home tick testing kit that helps people identify potential Lyme disease risk quickly after a tick is found on a person or animal, raised venture funding from Fortify Ventures.
Seed Round
- ChronicleBio, decentralized research ecosystem that advances the understanding and treatment of complex neuroimmune disorders, raised $5.36 million of seed funding from Tarsadia Investments and other investors.
- Xella Health, at-home diagnostic testing for early detection and monitoring of women’s reproductive health conditions, raised $3.7 million of pre-seed funding in a deal led by Precursor Ventures.
