  1. Dilon Technologies, medical imaging devices that assist in the fight against breast cancer, received $8.06 million of development capital from investors.
  2. Verily Life Sciences, healthcare tools and devices that help predict and prevent disease onset and progression, received $300 million of development capital from Series X Capital, University of Colorado Health, Builders VC, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Alphabet.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. TheraB Medical, wearable swaddle that detects and treats infant jaundice, was acquired by Natus Sensory for $4.2 million.
  2. YourBio Health, bladeless blood collection device that eliminates pain and anxiety from the blood draw process, was acquired by Hims & Hers Health for $150 million.

Later Stage VC

  1. Atrility Medical, cardiac monitoring device for the diagnosis of atrial arrhythmia, raised $1 million of venture funding in the form of convertible debt.
  2. NightWare, digital therapeutic device that reduces the effects of traumatic nightmares associated with post-traumatic stress disorder, raised $250,000 of venture funding.

Early Stage VC

  1. LymeAlert, at-home tick testing kit that helps people identify potential Lyme disease risk quickly after a tick is found on a person or animal, raised venture funding from Fortify Ventures.
  2. Serene Sleep, medical device that addresses disruptive snoring, raised venture funding from Anorak Ventures.

Seed Round

  1. HEARTio, digital diagnostic device that helps clinicians identify cardiovascular disease effectively, raised $4.25 million of seed funding from Shepherd Ventures, Audacious Capital and LifeX Ventures.
  2. JuneBrain, retinal imaging system that optimizes remote assessment and monitoring of neurological diseases, raised $450,000 of seed funding from Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund and other investors, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $9.55 million.
