PE Growth/Expansion

  1. Comfort Prosthetics & Orthotics, custom prosthetic and orthotic devices that enhance physical mobility and functional well-being for individuals requiring prosthetic and orthotic care, received development capital from Solyco Capital.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Naveris, blood test technology that detects specific subtypes of cancer and improve patient outcomes, was acquired by CareDx for $160 million.
  2. SPR Therapeutics, peripheral nerve stimulation therapy platform that treats severe pain, was acquired by Medtronic for $650 million.

Later Stage VC

  1. Imperative Care, commercial-stage medical technology for researching, developing, and manufacturing that improves care for people with vascular diseases, raised $111.27 million of venture funding in the form of convertible debt in a deal led by Elevage Medical Technologies and Perceptive Advisors.
  2. RapidPulse, medical devices for the treatment of ischemic stroke, raised $48 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by Medtronic, S3 Ventures and TechWald Holding.
  3. Shape Memory Medical, medical device that caters to the peripheral vascular, cardiovascular and neurovascular markets, raised $23.91 million of venture funding through a combination of SAFE notes, convertible debt and warrants.

Early Stage VC

  1. ALZpath, biotechnology and laboratory research services that improve the lives of those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease, raised $8.41 million of venture funding.
  2. Throne Science, health monitoring device that monitors well-being from excretion waste, raised $16.07 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Will Ventures.

Seed Round

  1. Skybound Medtech, space-oriented medical technologies that support human health, raised $1.25 million of seed funding.
  2. Tuned, preventive digital hearing health services for broader health benefit programs, raised $529,999 of Seed-3 funding, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $17 million.
