PE Growth/Expansion

  1. Saluda Medical, closed-loop neuron modulation devices that treat chronic neuropathic pain, received $30 million of development capital from investors.
  2. Velico Medical, pre-clinical medical technology that commits to reducing preventable death from bleeding, received development capital from New York Angels.

Later Stage VC

  1. LIV Process, microbiological visualization system that changes how healthcare and public safety institutions approach infectious disease prevention, raised $20 million of venture funding from investors.
  2. PhotoPharmics, non-invasive therapies that improve the lives of patients suffering from neurological disorders and addictions, raised $26.20 million through a combination of Series B venture funding in a deal led by Kickstart, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $23.80 million.
  3. VahatiCor, medical technology platform that alleviates the angina burden for patients with coronary microvascular dysfunction who have exhausted current medical therapies, raised $23 million through a combination of Series B-1 and Series B-2 venture funding in a deal led by S3 Ventures, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $25 million.

Early Stage VC

  1. Rythm Health, blood testing kits that track health performance, raised $19.34 million through the combination of Series A venture funding from DML Group, Co Ventures, Collaborative Fund, and Courtside Ventures, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $54 million.
  2. Theraheart, implantable cardiac medical devices that assist patients with advanced heart failure, raised $11.6 million through Series A -1v and Series A-2 of venture funding from Qiming Venture Partners, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $23.8 million.

Seed Round

  1. DefEYE, ophthalmic-biologic technology intended for ocular surface repair and surgery, raised $12 million through a combination of Series Seed-1 and Series Seed-2 funding from Celularity, ExSight Ventures, and other investors, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $19 million.
  2. EVT, cardiovascular support services for surgical and critical care applications, raised $3.19 million of seed funding from investors.
  3. HarmonIQ Biosciences, hormone health technology that delivers real-time hormone monitoring services, raised $30,000 of seed funding in the form of convertible note from investors.
