- Pediatrica, healthcare services that offer equitable access to innovative pediatric primary care, received $28 million of development capital from M33 Growth and Valspring Capital.
- The Endoscopy Center of West Central Ohio, gastrointestinal services based in Lima, Ohio, received $952,000 of development capital.
Merger/Acquisition
- Glenn Reams Ocularist, custom artificial eyes for individuals with eye loss, was acquired by United Ocular.
- Summer Health, pediatric telehealth services that simplify access to healthcare, was acquired by Doctronic.
Later Stage VC
- Baylor Genetics, genetic testing and precision medicine services that provide deep patient data sets that lead to accurate interpretations, raised $50 million of Series B venture funding, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $441 million.
- Klinic, digital addiction treatment clinic that offers a virtual addiction recovery support system, raised $24.22 million of Series A venture funding from Tau Ventures, Somersault Ventures and I2BF Global Ventures.
Early Stage VC
- Function Health, preventive healthcare platform that provides comprehensive health testing and monitoring, raised $450 million of venture funding from General Catalyst.
- Radial Health, mental healthcare center that focuses on psychedelic treatments within a comprehensive mental healthcare model, raised $53 million through a combination of Debt, Series A-1 and Series A-2 venture funding in a deal led by General Catalyst, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $124.83 million.
Seed Round
- Allswell, virtual mental health therapy services for the queer community, raised $6.76 million through a combination of Seed and Seed-1 funding from Amboy Street Ventures, Seae Ventures and Unseen, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $19 million.
- Alps Dx, automated laboratory systems for oral fluid drug screening, raised $1.6 million of seed funding.
