PE Growth/Expansion
- Payworks (Canada), cloud-based payroll solutions that streamline payroll processing, tax compliance, and employee benefits management for businesses, received GBP 17 million of development capital from Hg.
Merger/Acquisition
- CommunityWFM, automation platform that provides workforce optimization and engagement management for contact centers, was acquired by RingCentral (NYS: RNG).
- Jitjatjo, workforce management platform and talent marketplace for the hospitality industry, was acquired by Dayforce.
Buyout/LBO
- Apli, online end-to-end recruitment platform that helps find suitable candidates easily, was acquired by iCIMS, via its financial sponsors Susquehanna Growth Equity, TA Associates Management, and Vista Equity Partners, through an LBO.
- WorkCompass, online performance management software that helps organizations manage their talent through ongoing performance check-ins, was acquired by HRLocker, via its financial sponsor Invincible Software Holdings, through an LBO.
Early Stage VC
- DianaHR, payroll services that streamline human resources operations for business owners, raised $3.7 million of Series A venture funding.
- micro1, AI platform for human intelligence that builds models to predict talent performance, raised $35 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by 01 Advisors.
- Paismo, human resource and payroll management platform that pays, manages and grows talent at the local level, raised venture funding from START EQUITY VENTURES.
Seed Round
- RefAssured, human capital platform that provides staffing services, raised $3.18 million through a combination of Seed and Seed-1 funding from Bullhorn Ventures, Belal Badat Ventures, and other investors.
Angel (individual)
- Starteryou, job search platform that provides students with job listings and career resources based on their requirements, raised $35,000 of angel funding.
