Top 10 HR Tech Capital Raises in the U.S. – April 1st to 15th, 2025

PE Growth/Expansion

  1. Micro-Cap Solutions, provider of executive search, outsourced corporate services, and human resource consulting intended to serve the high-growth, high-demand businesses, received development capital from Ninth Street Capital Partners in April 2025.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Paycor, provider of payroll and human capital management solutions to small and midsize clients in the United States via a software-as-a-service model, was acquired by Paychex for $4.1 billion on April 14, 2025.

Later Stage VC

  1. Aclipse, provider of recruitment services designed for individuals seeking teaching opportunities abroad, raised venture funding from UCEA Capital Partners in April 2025.
  2. i4cp, operator of a human capital research firm intended to assist organizations in maintaining a competitive advantage, raised venture funding from M/C Partners on April 9, 2025.

Early Stage VC

  1. Graici, developer of a solution-focused AI intended to serve health, education and social sectors, raised $3.5 million of Series A-2 venture funding on April 2, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $18.5 million.
  2. Highway Benefits, developer of an employee benefits platform designed to boost retention and attract top talent through innovative offerings, raised $350,000 of venture funding in the form of convertible debt from investors on April 9, 2025.
  3. Kognitos, developer of business automation platform designed to transform business processes through natural language processing, raised $24.5 million of Series B venture funding from investors on April 7, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $148.5 million.
  4. Auditocity, developer of a compliance automation platform designed for human resources auditing purposes, raised $100,000 of venture funding from investors on April 1, 2025.

Angel (individual)

  1. Stape, developer of a SaaS platform designed to facilitates payments worldwide for freelancers and contractors, raised $1 million of angel funding from Yegor Guriyev on April 11, 2025.
  2. Gaingels, operator of a venture investment syndicate intended to promote diversity and inclusion in high-growth startups, raised $21,111 of angel funding from investors on April 15, 2025.
