  1. Edge Total Intelligence, operates as a software company delivering increased operational resilience, agility, and efficiency, received $5.00 million of development capital from investors through a private placement.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. BenefitBump, provider of wellness and fitness services intended to offer customized benefit navigation and emotional assistance to employees’ journeys during life’s critical milestones, acquired by Progyny.
  2. Byteboard, developer of a hiring software intended to assist companies in the technical interview process, acquired by Karat.

Later Stage VC

  1. PuzzleHR, provider of HR services intended to harness the power of human resources to drive business results, raised $4.54 million of venture funding.
  2. Thalamus, developer of a cloud-based interview management platform designed to provide graduate medical education training programs, raised $30 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by Association of American Medical Colleges.

Early Stage VC

  1. Mercor, developer of an artificial intelligence-powered hiring platform designed to streamline the hiring process for both candidates and companies, raised $75.00 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by Felicis.
  2. MedGeo Ventures, developer of a career center platform intended to reduce friction associated with job searches and meet the unique professional demands of members, raised $1.62 million of venture funding.

Grant

  1. Cantaloupe, operator of an AI-powered pre-screening platform designed to enhance hiring efficiency in the hospitality industry, awarded an estimated $115,000 prize from STartUP Northshore as a part of it’s 2025 NSpire Startup Slam.

Seed Round

  1. Cinareo, developer of workforce insights tool designed for capacity planning, financial analysis and scenario modeling, raised CAD 1.16 million of pre-seed funding in a deal led by BDC Capital.
  2. Final Round AI, developer of a human resources platform designed to help candidates prepare for and ace job interviews with its cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology, raised $6.88 million of seed funding from HFO, Linear Capital and Ritual Capital.

From 1991 to 1999, was at Credit Suisse First Boston as a senior trader on a principal transaction desk responsible for managing a proprietary position of credit sensitive commercial/residential real estate and asset-backed securities and head of CSFB’s new issue whole loan and agency CMO desk. Began his career in 1985 at Arthur Andersen where he managed their structured finance group consulting on ground breaking securitizations of residential mortgages, credit cards, auto loans, corporate loans and other financial assets. FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 79 licenses.
