PE Growth/Expansion
- Sustainability Partners, an infrastructure services company that delivers and maintains essential infrastructure assets through a utility-style service model, received development capital from Sciens Capital Management.
Merger/Acquisition
- Brazos Midstream, a natural gas and crude oil company that operates gathering pipelines, processing facilities, and storage assets, acquired by Western Midstream Partners, a subsidiary of Anadarko Petroleum, for an estimated $1.6 billion.
Later Stage VC
- Upstart Power, a fuel cell technology company that manufactures solid oxide fuel cell generators for distributed power generation, raised $4.1 million of venture funding.
- Netris, a network automation company that develops multi-tenancy platforms for artificial intelligence infrastructure, raised $15 million of Series A venture funding.
Early Stage VC
- Endurance Energy, a geothermal energy company that develops offshore geothermal power solutions, raised $54 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Founders Fund.
- Ambrosia Energy, a renewable energy company that provides solar and battery power plants for industrial operations, raised venture funding from DFJ Growth.
Seed Round
- Transformative American Resources, an energy infrastructure company that develops and manages sustainable power systems, raised $27 million of seed funding.
- Mantle, a geothermal energy company that repurposes depleted oil and gas wells for power generation, raised $5 million of Seed-1 funding in a deal led by 17Shoals.
Angel (individual)
- Reversii Finance, an infrastructure intelligence company that develops AI-powered platforms for managing physical infrastructure systems, raised $61,000 of angel funding.
- Nucleus Power, a nuclear energy company that develops microreactor technology for on-site electricity generation, raised $64,000 of angel funding.

Led the management buyout of RBS Bank Mexico and RBS Broker-Dealer Mexico in 2014 and spearheaded the subsequent growth of the bank as Head of Investment Banking & Corporate Development. During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
