Later Stage VC

- 4L Data Intelligence, artificial intelligence-based software and Insurtech platform that improves network optimization and patient outcomes while reducing fraud, raised $6.54 million of venture funding.
- Amplify Life Insurance, life insurance platform that offers term, permanent, and cash-value life insurance, raised $6.19 million of venture funding.
- HealthBridge, insurance tech company that gives patients financial security and flexibility, raised $41.2 million of venture funding in the form of convertible debt.
- Parametrix Insurance, business interruption insurance that covers insurance policies covering third-party information technology downtime events, raised $27 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by Hannover Digital Investments, FirstMark Capital and Mundi Ventures.

- Barker, AI-backed valuation and insurance warranty platform for financial institutions and lenders, raised $3.5 million of venture funding in a deal led by Walkabout Ventures.
- Summit Commercial Solutions, national insurance brokerage, and risk management firm that customizes insurance and risk management systems tailored to businesses, raised $7.5 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by IA Capital Group.

- Findevor, AI-driven underwriting platform that helps insurance carriers assess risk and manage submissions, raised $1.25 million of seed funding.

Began his career at ABN AMRO Bank in Japan, and subsequently in The Netherlands in the Corporate Finance department. Was seconded to New York in 2006 to co-establish the ABN AMRO North America Corporate Finance M&A department and grew it by advising medium and large companies on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, capital raisings and capital structurings. Led the management buyout of RBS Bank Mexico and RBS Broker-Dealer Mexico in 2014 and spearheaded the subsequent growth of the bank as Head of Investment Banking & Corporate Development. During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
