- MajorBoost, developer of patient communication technology designed to simplify the link between healthcare providers and payers, was acquired by SuperBill.

- Kalderos, developer of medicine management platform designed to analyze the complex coordination of drug discount programs, raised $26.35 million of venture funding.
- Parsyl, provider of data-driven cargo insurance intended to enhance risk management for complex supply chains, raised $20.65 million of Series C and Series C-1 venture funding in a deal led by Lightsmith Group.

- Harper, provider of insurance services intended to protect business and manage risks, raised venture funding from Untapped Ventures.
- kmōdo, provider of life insurance services intended to offer flexible, personalized coverage that adapts to changing needs, raised $400,000 of venture funding from InnoVenture Iowa.
- Venteur, developer of an artificial intelligence-powered health insurance marketplace designed to offer personalized health benefits to employees, raised venture funding from Ingeborg Investments.

- Deep Vector, developer of artificial intelligence software designed to convert portable document format insurance loss runs into usable data, raised $1.5 million of seed funding in a deal led by Aperture Venture Capital and InsurTech NY.
- Presidio HealthCare, operator of a health insurance company intended to provide comprehensive, pro-life coverage that respects ethical values, raised $5.49 million of seed funding in a deal led by Rob Hays.
- Minnesota Home & Autorovider of insurance services intended to provide peace of mind for homeowners through personalized, quality insurance coverage, raised $18,000 of angel funding.

Began his career at ABN AMRO Bank in Japan, and subsequently in The Netherlands in the Corporate Finance department. Was seconded to New York in 2006 to co-establish the ABN AMRO North America Corporate Finance M&A department and grew it by advising medium and large companies on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, capital raisings and capital structurings. Led the management buyout of RBS Bank Mexico and RBS Broker-Dealer Mexico in 2014 and spearheaded the subsequent growth of the bank as Head of Investment Banking & Corporate Development. During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
