Top 10 Internet Of Things Capital Raises and Investors in the U.S. – November 16th – December 31st, 2025

PE Growth/Expansion

    1. Aeris Communications, cellular IoT connectivity and connected vehicle platform that improves operational efficiency, received an estimated $220 million of development capital from TA Associates Management and other investors.

Merger/Acquisition

    1. Credence ID, handheld biometric and credential reading technology that makes human enrollment and identification intuitive and cost-effective, was acquired by Matica Fintec for $8 million.
    2. Frabbit, artificial intelligence-driven product-building platform that accelerates software innovation, was acquired by Universe Global.

Buyout/LBO

    1. Balena, IoT-based fleet management platform that simplifies how software is built, deployed, and managed, was acquired by LoneTree Capital through an LBO.

Later Stage VC

    1. AquaEye, handheld scanning sonar device that aids water-based search and rescue operations, raised venture funding from Scale Good Fund.
    2. Artisight, IoT sensor network that improves organizational operations and financial performance for healthcare, raised venture funding from Labcorp Venture Fund.
    3. CubeWorks, wireless sensing tags for real-time monitoring across diverse environments, raised $1.44 million of venture funding in the form of convertible debt from TELUS Global Ventures and other investors.
    4. RapidSOS, emergency technology platform that links the Internet of Things devices directly to first responders to improve emergency response, raised $100 million through a combination of Series D and Series D-1 venture funding in a deal led by Apax Partners, and other investors.

Early Stage VC 

    1. INLAN, indoor localization and navigation technology for real-time motion tracking, raised $5 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Saas Fee Limited.

Seed

    1. Genabot, advanced hardware and software platforms that enhances efficiency, yield, and quality in semiconductor manufacturing, raised $2 million of Seed funding.

During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
