Top 10 Internet Of Things Capital Raises in the U.S. – April 16th-30th, 2025

Buyout/LBO

    1. iSpace Global, provider of IT and business processing services intended for healthcare, entertainment, automobile, and financial services sectors, was acquired by Lyric, via its financial sponsors, TPG, Symphony Ventures and Ares Capital, through an LBO.
    2. NetFoundry, developer of a networking platform designed to disrupt the traditional networking market by approaching the problem of next-generation zero-trust secure application connectivity from the software developer’s point of view, was acquired by SYN Ventures and LDV Partners through an LBO.

Later Stage VC

    1. AssetWatch, developer of a monitoring system designed for proactive maintenance, raised $75 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by Harmonic Growth Partners.
    2. IrriGreen, developer of an IoT digital sprinkler system designed to digitize landscape irrigation, raised $19 million through a combination of Series A-1 , Series A-2 and Series A-3 venture funding from Natural Ventures, SUM Ventures and Ulu Ventures.
    3. K4Connect, developer of a health-tech platform designed to serve and empower older adults and individuals living with disabilities, raised $625,000 of Series B venture funding.
    4. NetFoundry, developer of a networking platform designed to disrupt the traditional networking market by approaching the problem of next-generation zero-trust secure application connectivity from the software developer’s point of view, raised $12.00 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by SYN Ventures.

Early Stage VC 

    1. Ubicept, developer of image sensors designed for advanced computer vision algorithms to capture motion, raised $1 million of venture funding from TitletownTech.

Accelerator/Incubator

    1. Edo, manufacturer of energy efficiency and demand flexibility systems intended to build virtual grid integration to help decarbonize building costs, joined Plug and Play Tech Center.
    2. LŌD, developer of an energy-intelligent industrial Internet of Things platform designed to optimize operations and energy consumption in mission-critical environments, joined Plug and Play Tech Center as a part of its Seattle Inaugural Batch.
    3. RxAll, developer of a deep learning hyperspectral IoT platform designed for authenticating drugs in real-time, joined Investing in Innovation as a part of its Third Cohort, and received grant funding.

Led the management buyout of RBS Bank Mexico and RBS Broker-Dealer Mexico in 2014 and spearheaded the subsequent growth of the bank as Head of Investment Banking & Corporate Development. During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
