PE Growth/Expansion

    1. Nova Labs, provider of decentralized network services technology designed to provide long-range connectivity, received development capital from The Ropart Asset Management Funds.

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

    1. Borqs Technologies, provider of software development services and products, providing customizable, differentiated, and scalable Android-based smart connected devices and cloud service solutions, was acquired by Sasken Communication Technologies for approximately $40 million.

Later Stage VC

    1. 7SIGNAL, developer of a Wi-Fi performance management system designed to monitor and manage the end-user Wi-Fi experience, raised $3.44 million of Series E-1 venture funding.
    2. ANAFLASH, developer of a flash-based smart microprocessor designed for battery-powered edge devices to run real-time artificial intelligence inferencing securely, raised $5.57 million through a combination of debt and Series A and Series A-1 venture funding in a deal led by Stonebridge Ventures.
    3. CubeWorks, developer of wireless sensing tags designed for real-time monitoring across diverse environments, raised $439,993 of venture funding through a combination of debt and equity from TELUS Global Ventures and other investors.
    4. Japa, developer of a parking management system designed to allow parking facilities to view lot inventory in real-time, raised $1.3 million of venture funding.
    5. MesoMat, developer of a tire management platform designed to help fleets reduce their two largest expenses, fuel and tires, raised venture funding from rpv and other investors.

Early Stage VC 

    1. Dottir Labs, developer of sensing technology designed for aqueous environments without compromising sensitivity or specificity, raised venture funding from ActiveSurfaces, Wolf Point Capital and Activate Global.

Accelerator/Incubator

    1. CubeNexus, developer of data structuring software designed to simplify and organize complex data sets, joined TitletownTech as part of its Startup Draft 2025.

Seed

    1. Vope Medical, developer of an artificial intelligence-based software designed to optimize the lens cleaning process and minimize disruption through automation, raised CAD 2.29 million of seed funding in a deal led by Investissement Québec and Genson Capital.

During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
