    1. Visionstate, a company engaged in interactive electronic business solutions in the form of touchscreen and mobile way-finding and efficiency applications, as well as consulting, graphic and web design, and related services and support, received CAD 455,000 of development capital through a private placement.
    2. Ynvisible Interactive, designer and developer of printed electronic components, received CAD 547,652 of development capital through a private placement.

Merger/Acquisition and Corporate

    1. Oliver IQ, operator of a smart home as a service platform intended to provide homeowners with a convenient home experience without the complexity and cost, was acquired by Savi Controls.

Later Stage VC

    1. AmberSemi, developer of solid-state technologies intended for the digital control of electricity, raised $8.75 million of venture funding in the form of convertible note.
    2. Amplified Industries, developer of an industrial automation platform designed to optimize oilfield operations, raised $11.15 million of Series A venture funding.
    3. Corsha, developer of a cloud-based streaming authentication software designed to protect application programming interfaces against data breaches, raised $8 million of venture funding.
    4. MemryX, developer of an in-memory computing system designed to eliminate data movement bottlenecks, raised $44 million of Series B venture funding.
    5. Occuspace, developer of crowd monitoring technology designed for optimum occupancy management and safety, raised $6 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Lewis & Clark Ventures.

Early Stage VC

    1. Niobium, developer of microelectronic components designed for the secure collection, processing, and distribution of critical data, raised $12.85 million of venture funding.

Seed

    1. Hummingbird Systems, developer of autonomous aerial fulfillment technology designed for robotic warehouse automation for unit order picking, raised $2.55 million of Seed-4 funding from Innovation Works and other investors.

Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
