  1. Dignari, operator of a technology consulting and analytics firm, intended to design, was acquired by EY.
  2. Retail Aware, developer of a sensor-informed analytics platform, was acquired by Glimpse Analytics, a subsidiary of FireBolt.
Later Stage VC
  1. Andium, developer of an industrial IoT platform designed to bring intelligent software services down to the device layer, raised $21.7 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by Aramco Ventures
  2. Health Care Originals, operator of a digital health platform intended to provide respiratory monitoring, raised $9.19 million of venture funding.
Early Stage VC
  1. IOTA Software, provider of data visualization services intended to connect people, assets and manufacturing processes, raised $10.4 million of Series A2 venture funding in a deal led by Altira Group.
  2. Perfumeo, developer of a smart home fragrance device designed for enhancing the home ambience, raised $1.04 million of venture funding.
  3. Tao Digital, provider of IT consultancy services intended to improve accessibility to multiple digital innovations, raised an estimated $32.5 million of Series A venture funding from Vesper Company, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $52.5 million.
Angel, Seed, and Grant
  1. AnyLog, developer of a decentralized Internet of Things platform, raised $3.79 million through a combination of Seed funding from Block.one, and Tetha Crypto, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $14 million.
  2. Edge AI, developer of a pipeline inspection robotics technology intended to identify infrastructure issues accurately, raised $3 million of seed funding.
  3. MLhere, developer of a distributed energy controller management platform designed to democratize machine learning, raised $150,000 of angel funding.

Began his career at ABN AMRO Bank in Japan, and subsequently in The Netherlands in the Corporate Finance department. Was seconded to New York in 2006 to co-establish the ABN AMRO North America Corporate Finance M&A department and grew it by advising medium and large companies on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, capital raisings and capital structurings. Led the management buyout of RBS Bank Mexico and RBS Broker-Dealer Mexico in 2014 and spearheaded the subsequent growth of the bank as Head of Investment Banking & Corporate Development. During his tenure he supported companies with capital and financing solutions with a focus on companies in the US and Mexican energy infrastructure sector and fintech sector. Holds a master’s degree in economics from Groningen University, The Netherlands. Holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
