PE Growth/Expansion

  1. Diverse Logistics, last-mile delivery services that serve electronics, furniture, appliances and fitness equipment industries, received development capital from Ironwood Capital.
  2. Globalmed Logistix, medical device logistics services that support the secure movement of healthcare goods across complex supply chains, received development capital from Water Street Healthcare Partners.

Merger/Acquisition

  1. Comprehensive Logistics Company, logistics management services that cater to automotive, consumer durables and recreational vehicle industries, was acquired by Detroit Quality Staffing.
  2. ReturnBear, return logistics services that help customers swap goods conveniently, was acquired by Redo Tech.

Later Stage VC

  1. Iron Sheepdog, logistics technology that assists and manages the logistics of short-haul trucking for construction projects, raised $2.75 million of Series B1 venture funding from investors, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $33.25 million.
  2. UniUni, delivery services platform that meets the needs of e-commerce and logistics industry clients, raised $155 million of Series D1 venture funding through a combination of equity and debt.

Early Stage VC

  1. Amari AI, automated customs clearance software for international shipping and logistics operations, raised $4.5 million of venture funding in a deal led by First Round Capital and Pear.
  2. Ember LifeSciences, refrigerated shipping box that revolutionizes the way people eat, drink and live, raised $37.44 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Sea Court Capital.

Seed Round

  1. Bloodhound Tracking Device, tracking and tracing technology system for businesses to detect shipments and containers, raised $8.47 million of seed funding in the form of convertible debt financing from investors.
  2. Humble Robotics, autonomous ground transportation system that simplifies freight movement, raised $24 million of seed funding in the form of SAFE Notes in a round led by Eclipse, RedBlue Capital and Energy Impact Partners.
