PE Growth/Expansion

    1. Vandelay Industries, specialty products for the aerospace, defense, medical, industrial, and scientific markets, received a development capital from Castle Crow & Company.

PIPE

    1. HPQ Silicon, a silicon solutions company that offers silica and silicon-based solutions and is developing a portfolio of high-value-added silicon products sought after by battery and electric vehicle manufacturers, received CAD 3 million of development capital.

Buyout/LBO

    1. Aluma, aluminum utility and recreational trailers that hauls golf cars, was acquired by Novae, via its financial sponsor Brightstar Capital Partners, through an LBO.

Merger/Acquisition

    1. Custom Glass Products, glass components that supports window and door fabrication aligned with energy requirements, was acquired by KI Wall.

Later Stage VC

    1. Nicslab, a fabless chip that develops electronics and photonics integrated circuits for future optical technology, raised $1 million of venture funding in the form of convertible debt from NextCorps Luminate.
    2. Poynette IronWorks, a steel containers and custom-fabricated metal products that supports refuse, recycling, and material handling requirements across industrial and municipal use cases, raised $20.9 million of venture funding.

Early Stage VC

    1. Ember LifeSciences, refrigerated shipping box that revolutionizes the way people eat, drink and live, raised $37.44 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Sea Court Capital.
    2. Ultra Pouches, nicotine-free oral pouches that supports everyday mental focus and sustained energy, raised $11 million through a combination of Series A-4 and Series A-5 venture funding in a deal led by Left Lane Capital

Seed Round

    1. Orza, specialized dance footwear for professional ballet performance and repeated physical impact, raised $2.73 million of Series 3 seed funding.
    2. fJscaler, a semiconductor technology that advances high-speed optical communication systems, raised $7.5 million of seed funding.
